Fishpaper is the generic name for the Electrical Insulation grade of Vulcanized Fibre. Fishpaper has unique properties, including light weight, and ease of forming and punching. Fishpaper is also unique because it is more resistant to heat and cold than comparable plastic materials. Fishpaper has excellent punchability and physical strength, for applications like end laminations for electric motors. It is available in sheets, rolls, or slit to coils of any width. Services also include: die-cutting, forming, slitting, punching.

Fishpaper Applications include:
  • Electrical Appliances
  • Gaskets
  • Electrical Instruments
  • Fuse Tubes
  • Washers
  • Circuit breakers
  • Automotive
  • Railroad track insulation
  • Electrical Insulation
  • Bushings for motor contacts
  • Electrical Devices
  • Lightening arresters

UL File No.: E55656 Material Designation HB-77
    ASTM Spec: ASTM D-710, Electrical
    Military Spec: Mil-I-695 Type F
    NEMA Grade: Vulcanized Fibre, Electrical

High mechanical & dielectric strength. Good shock absorting & wear resisting qualities. Excellent punching, forming, & turning characteristics. Semi-hard & has a good surface finish.

*$20.00 small order charge applies to each line item less than 200#'s and up to every 50# parcel/carton.
